By the Glorious Morning Light,

The full morning light of the sun, with its brilliance shining forth in contrast to the night that has passed, symbolizes the growth of spiritual life and work. The growing hours of morning light, from sunrise to noon, serve as a true representation of this growth, while the stillness of the night acts, for those who understand, as a preparation for it. We should not assume that the quiet or calm of the night is wasted or signifies stagnation in our spiritual journey. Although the stillness may feel lonely, we are not alone nor forsaken by Allah. Additionally, such preparation, even without immediate visible results, should not be seen as a sign of Allah’s displeasure.

93:2 

And by the Night when it is still,-

93:3 

Thy Guardian-Lord hath not forsaken thee, nor is He displeased.

93:4 

And verily the Hereafter will be better for thee than the present.

93:5 

And soon will thy Guardian-Lord give thee (that wherewith) thou shalt be well-pleased
