The Jewels of Wisdom is a Quran commentary collection The approach in this Quran Commentary is to follow the traditional or classical scholars in their general interpretation of the Quran. Where there is a specific interpretation or scientific interpretation, I have quoted relevant modern scholars who explained the verses that specific way, who but nonetheless follow the general traditional and classical approach. Where there is no commentary on a specific verse, the reason is one of the following three: The meaning is obvious or self explanatory or has already been explained in another verse; I do not know the meaning of that verse; I could not find a scholarly resource that showed its meaning clearly.

Dedication: I dedicate the work on this site to Allah, who is Al Rahman (the Compassionate), His Messenger (peace be upon him), the Believers, and my family.

Islam and Modern Science is a scholarly commentary of the scientific verses of the Holy Quran. Growing up, as a student of Quranic studies, I felt a barrier between science on the one hand and esoteric meanings enriched in the Quran. I realized that though the information common Muslims need is available; it is quite scattered among scholarly sources. The purpose of this book is to see it altogether for anyone to study.

All the information in this book is a calligraphy of the ancient and modern scholars. I have built it with utmost accuracy; the information is both reliable from a scholarly perspective, and is the peak of a golden age that exists right now in this very era. The approach in this book is to follow the traditional or classical scholars in their general interpretation of the Quran. Where there is a scientific interpretation, I have quoted relevant modern scholars who explained the ayat (verses) that specific way, who but nonetheless follow the the general traditional and classical approach.

Dedication: I dedicate the work on this site to Allah, who is Al Rahman (the Compassionate), His Messenger (peace be upon him), the Believers, and my family.

The Quran and Comparative Religion is a textual and critical comparison between the Quran on the one hand and the scriptures of other world religions including the Torah, Gospels, Psalms, Vedas, and Zend Avesta. Coming from an Islamic background, I have chosen to use the Quran as the comparison factor among the different scriptural references. In my view, scholars as well as students can greatly benefit from the information in this book. As promoting the Quranic scripture is the goal of this book, readers will most likely see a bias in the texts, however, the purpose is for people to regard differences as a necessary component in comparative religion. At the same time, there are also certain references that show a clear coexistence between these. Both the differences and similarities found in this book are intended to create an atmosphere of honesty, integrity and most of all flexibility when reading the scriptures of modern day within an Islamic context. In my research, I realized commonalities do exist; but, mutual understanding and self respect of different views can allow us to live in something I like to call a “Global Village”. For in the end, if God did not want different religions to be practiced alongside Islam, He would simply not have allowed for their existence in the first place.

The Quran and Sufism contains some sample verses of the Quran that deal with the mystical side of Islam. When reading through the Quran, I felt that they could be connected to true Mysticism. Though mostly philosophical in nature, all the interpretations of the Quran are from well known scholars. The overall theme of the book is Sufism; but is nonetheless Islamic in nature.
