O ye who believe! if ye fear Allah, He will grant you a criterion (to judge between right and wrong), remove from you (all) evil (that may afflict) you, and forgive you: for Allah is the Lord of grace unbounded.
In Qur’an 11:3, the Prophet Muhammad is instructed to call people to seek forgiveness from their Lord and to turn to Him in repentance so that they may enjoy the blessings of life for an appointed term and receive abundant grace according to their merit. The verse also warns that turning away from this guidance may result in the punishment of a great Day. Commenting on this passage, Ali explains that the “enjoyment of all good and true things” refers to the blessings experienced in the present worldly life, which is limited in duration, whereas the “abounding grace” refers to the greater spiritual reward that begins in this life but reaches its completion in the Hereafter (Ali, 1989, p. 514).
And verily we have written in the Scripture, after the Reminder: My righteous slaves will inherit the earth (Quran 21:105, Pickthall Translation)
“Allah has promised those of you who believe and do good deeds that he will make them inherit the land, as He had inherited those who were before them.” Surah Al-Nur (24:55)
