(It is) in Books held (greatly) in honour,
At the time this Surah was revealed, there were perhaps only 42 or 45 Surahs in the possession of the Muslims. However, this body of revelation, though relatively small, was of high spiritual significance and worthy of the description provided in the verse. It was held in the highest esteem, with its place in the hearts of Muslims being more revered than anything else. As the Word of Allah, it was considered pure and sacred, and those who transcribed it were individuals of honor, justice, and piety (Ali).
