As to the Righteous, they shall drink of a Cup (of Wine) mixed with Kafur,
Kafur literally refers to camphor. In the context of the Realms of Bliss, it is described as a fountain, symbolizing a refreshing and wholesome element. It is likened to a seasoning added to the Cup of pure, beatific Wine, which, unlike intoxicating beverages (Qur’an 56:18-19), represents all that is pure, pleasant, and revitalizing. Camphor, known for its cool and refreshing qualities, is used as a soothing tonic in traditional Eastern medicine. In small doses, both its scent and taste are pleasing (Ali).
