16:1
(Inevitable) cometh (to pass) the Command of Allah: seek ye not then to hasten it: Glory to Him, and
far is He above having the partners they ascribe unto Him!
16:2
He doth send down His angels with inspiration of His Command, to such of His servants as He pleaseth, (saying): “Warn (Man) that there is no god but I: so do your duty unto Me.”
Human beings have often followed various leaders or guides who ultimately led them astray; however, according to religious tradition, authentic guidance has been conveyed through the prophets. These individuals are regarded as servants of God who were entrusted with a unique mission to guide humanity. Their lives are often described as reflecting harmony, balance, and moral clarity, while their teachings are portrayed as deeply moving and spiritually transformative. Within devotional literature, prophetic guidance is depicted as resonating with the entire created order, symbolizing the alignment of moral and spiritual truth with the broader harmony of existence.
Narratives within Islamic tradition describe elements of the natural world responding to the presence of the Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him). Reports indicate that trees and stones greeted him both before and during his prophethood, and he responded to these greetings. This motif is echoed in classical devotional poetry, such as al-Būṣīrī’s Qaṣīdat al-Burʾah, which poetically describes trees responding to the Prophet’s call and bowing in reverence. Such accounts symbolize the idea that the presence of prophetic guidance brings meaning and order to existence, transforming perceived disorder into harmony. In this interpretation, all aspects of creation are understood to participate in the glorification of God, and the coherence and order observed in the universe are viewed as signs of divine existence and unity, affirming that nothing in creation exists without purpose.
